The University of the Third Age : a time of creativity and fulfilment for retired people.

Stockport u3a is a member of the Third Age Trust a Registered Charity No 1024473 which was launched in 1985 to bring together local retired people to share many educational, creative and leisure activities.

There is an Open Meeting on the first Wednesday in every month, unless otherwise stated, which is open to all members. We meet at the Hazel Grove Methodist Church (Sanctuary) Wesley Street, Hazel Grove. SK7 4JQ.

During the year we have invited speakers who cover a diverse range of topics. Group leaders will also make announcements to keep members up to date on the activities.

Currently there are 28 groups offering new challenges, opportunities and new friends.
