A circular walk of 4.5 miles along the River Mersey and around Abney Hall Park. No stiles, fairly flat, good paths, some street walking between river and park. Meet at Burnage Lane Rugby Club in on an industrial estate in Heaton Mersey SK4 3EA. Take Didsbury Rd at the Pyramind roundabout(A5145), after 1 mile turn left onto Staton Rd, which becomes Vale Rd.
